SUP School

Stand up paddle boarding is sweeping the New Jersey beaches. For those of you who are ready to join the new paddle boarding craze but aren’t sure where to start, Harbor Outfitters is offering stand up paddle board lessons (SUP lessons) at our Sea Isle City Fish Alley location. After just a few lessons from the expert teachers at our SUP school you’ll be able to do all of the basics of paddleboarding, including catching incredible waves! Intro to Flat Water SUP

This basic class teaches you the fundamentals of paddle boarding. Our experienced coaches will teach you how to get on your board and stay on your board, and share tips about how to maintain balance while afloat. You’ll also learn different paddling techniques and drop-stepping. You’ll leave this stand up paddle board lesson feeling comfortable with your board and ready to SUP across the water.

Advanced Courses: Experience Required

Stand Up Paddle Surf

The adrenaline rush of catching your first wave is incredible! If you already have mastered the basics and are ready to ride the waves, this SUP lesson is for you. Our stand up paddle boarding trainers will teach you the timing, technique and tricks they know that make them so successful at catching the big waves. We offer private SUP lessons for those of you who want one-on-one time, or you can join a small or large group stand up paddle board lesson. To take this course you must have already taken our first SUP lesson (listed above) or have other SUP experience. SUP Yoga

What better way to start your day than combining yoga, SUP and the lagoon? Our yoga SUP lesson exercises your mind, soul and body simultaneously. During this one-hour SUP school class, our instructors will guide you through simple balance poses, gentle stretches and core strength exercises that will leave you feeling refreshed, relaxed and ready to go for the day. Join us Tuesday and Wednesday on the lagoon at 7:30 a.m or by appointment. To take this class you must have former SUP experience or have taken our first SUP lesson. SUP Fitness

Advanced SUP Tour

Take a 1.5 hour journey paddling the Inter-coastal waterway and marshlands on our SUP board rentals. Not only will you enjoy the beautiful views on our SUP boards, but you'll also be able to get “SUP”er fit from paddling! This is a great tour for people with SUP experience. Call to reserve!
